Notes:
Inscribed on cover sheet: sketch made on a trail on Mt. Aestin [i.e. Mt. Austen] - note how it dwindled off to shaky lines - I believe it was after sketching head that a couple of Jap 'Pistol Pete' shells whistled overhead. We ducked, as I recall, and then resumed sketching - I think my sketch is a good chart of uneasiness (the shells did not land close by).
