Includes views of a branch of the U.S. Government Printing Office in the Library of Congress; copies of drawings by Paul Cret of the proposed Hispanic Room, designs by Lee Lawrie for the Adams Building doors, and drawings and floor plans for the Library of Congress Jefferson and Adams buildings; empty bookstacks in the Adams Building; murals, mosaics, statues, and the Gutenberg Bible; musical instruments in the Archive of American Folk Song; the Coolidge Auditorium, the shrine of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution; heads of various Library of Congress divisions and staff members at work; portraits of several Librarians of Congress. Also includes views of the Senate Chamber, the Marble Room in the U.S. Senate, and the President's Room in the Senate wing of the Capitol, the Supreme Court building and the library of the Department of State (1931).
