'Lap-sitting is out' Speaker Bankhead today as he greeted a troupe of circus midgets from his home state of Alabama [at the] Capitol. An enterprising photographer sought to repeat the J.P. Morgan act of a few years ago (?) the noted financier placed on the midgets on [his] lap at a Senate hearing. But it was no go today as the Speaker was concerned, 4/30/37
