Summary: Includes advertisements for guns, a telegraph line, baking soda, fly paper, a tea room, a marine protractor, travel bags, cowbells, horse brushes, bicycles, spectacles, a gem dealor, toothpicks, and quilts. Images show a gun and bullet; an African American boy holding a spoon and box of baking soda; elderly women having tea; a woman riding side saddle; two men talking about a bicycle. An ad for a telegraph line includes a carriage surrounded by vignettes depicting transportation and rural scenes; another for fly paper personifies flies as baseball players. An ad for the 'Midland Hotel, Manchester' includes a view of the facade and dining room. Advertisements for cowbells show bell shapes and diagrams of the different sizes. The LOT also includes a photographic print depicting styles of leather travel satchels.
