Summary: Print shows a man with a whip driving a donkey with the head of a lion, laden with sacks of money past a pike labeled 'Liberty' with a Phrygian cap and a hand pointing the way 'to Hesse Cassel.' The man says, 'Hold your abusive growling and be thankful that an increasing Army will take good care of Madam Liberty.' To which the lion-headed donkey responds, 'I had rather defend myself than be made the beast of burden for aggrandisement of a petty German -- besides Liberty --'
