Built in 1837 atop the banks of the Alabama River. The hotel was reborn in 1997 after a $6 million restoration that brought together a group of investors and the community of Selma. One of the last riverfront hotels still standing in the Southeast, the hotel offers spectacular views of the river and the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge.
