Notes:
Note on photograph front: a small patrol in Libya with Bren carriers, anti-tank guns and 3-inch mortars penetrated into enemy territory and met five enemy vehicles with a number of Italian Infantrymen. The carriers worked their way round to the enemy's flank. Mortars opened fire and carriers charged with guns in action. The infantry soon surrendered. All the vehicles were loaded with supplies, prisoners and equipment, and driven back to British lines.
