Title: Endorses Federal Wage-and-Hour legislation. Washington, D.C., June 3. Appearing before the joint hearing of the House and Senate labor committees today, Robert M. Johnson, president of the Medical Supply firm of Johnson and Johnson of Brunswick, New Jersey, flatly endorsed the pending Black-Connery bill which was introduced in efforts to curtail sweatshop conditions and child labor. He told the committee the proposed legislation did not go far enough and placed himself on record as favoring a six-day week of 30 hours, 6/3/37
