Some sketches in Whistler's letters; others are of cadets' activities, including guard duty, executed while Whistler was at West Point. Designs include Whistler's butterfly signature as well as sketches for Peacock Room, furniture, and catalog illustrations including several of porcelain. Also, scattered original correspondence pasted on the mounts.
