Title: Refuses to answer. Washington, D.C., Mar. 10. Carl Ross, Executive Secretary of the Young Communist League, was subjected to an intensive questioning on the policies and program of the League today be Senator Josh Lee, Chairman of the Senate Education and Labor Subcommittee. Asked point-blank by Lee whether he would defend the American flag against the Russian flag with arms, Ross flushed deeply but refused to answer the question.
