Summary: Cartoon showing Theodore Roosevelt sliding off the back of a beleagured looking elephant labeled 'GOP' and whose hind legs drag ball-and-chains labeled 'Cuba' and 'High Tariff', he says, 'I think I'll walk'. 'Trust', Roosevelt's travelling companion, an enormous man bursting with wealth, rides atop the elephant. A sign pointing to Washington shows the way across a weak wooden bridge labeled 'Anti-Trust Sentiment'. Off to the left, in the distance, is the U.S. Capitol above which is the date '1904'.
