Title: New dust bowl program for southwest. Washington, D.C., June 2. Secretary of Agriculture Henry Wallace today appointed Roy I. Kimmel, of Amarillo, Texas to coordinate a broad federal proram to rehabilitate the soil conservation, resettlement and AAA wind erosion program in 100 counties, comprimising 140,000 sq miles, in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and New Mexico. Kimbel has been in charge of the RA Rehabilitation Program in the southwest, his appointment is effective for an indefinite term, 6/2/37
