This is the oldest and one of the most exclusive schools in the National Capitol and attended by children of some of the most prominent Washington families and members of the Diplomatic Corps. Photo shows Miss Betty Baker, daughter of the Secty. of War and Miss Eleanor Leech, daughter of A.Y. Leech, Secty of the United States Ordnance Co., in the costume of 'Dawn'.
Sidwell Friends School was first known as Friends' Select School.
