Summary: Print shows a campaign banner for Democratic presidential candidate Lewis Cass. It is almost identical in design to a banner Currier produced the same year for Zachary Taylor (no. 1848-5), except that here, above the portrait of the candidate, appears a bald eagle on a globe in an aureole of stars flanked by American flags.
