Includes sentimental views of homeland; views of soldiers in the field; cartoons; efficiency of weapons; rescue dogs; portraits of military and political leaders; views of Eastern and Western fronts; activities of the Red Cross. Includes series of picture postcards of scenes from Warsaw and series of pictures and paintings of submarines and ships. Also includes a set of 13 photographs with hand-lettered captions on postcard mounts mounted on black paper with soldiers, battle and aftermath scenes from Alsace.

Issued by various German and Austrian publishing houses, parts of series.
Some postcards have ink stamp of F.J.M. Rehse. A few postcards are addressed to Mr. Albin M. Watzulik in Allenburg, S.A.
