Summary: Photographs show the Japanese army arriving in Chemulpo (Inchon) Korea. Includes the army bringing horses and supplies ashore; coolies moving supplies; soldiers on beach after naval victory of Feb. 9th, 1904; Japanese Red Cross nurse with Russian patients. Also group portrait of Russian minister Pavolv, wife, and others in Legation gardens; and Russian diplomat Baron de Rosen on board a ship leaving Yokohama.

Robert Lee Dunn, war correspondent, covered the Russo-Japanese War for Collier's Weekly. In 1904, Dunn went to Chemulpo (Inchon), Korea, where he photogaphed the Japanese army's landing and covered the early battles. Mr. Dunn, for a while accompanied by Hearst correspondent Jack London, continued to travel and photograph war scenes in Korea by evading the Japanese censors.
