Summary: Illustration shows a man standing in a chimney, holding a telephone in his right hand and pointing with his left. On one side of the chimney stand a man in a long oriental shirt and a woman in a short frilly dress bordered with a fringe. On the other stand a policeman and a woman in an ankle-length dress. The drawing may be an ilustration for a detective story. John Held was extremely popular, particularly for his depiction of flappers and other sophisticated young things, during the 1920s.
