Wilson, Undersecretary of Agriculture, today told the Senate Unemployment and Relief Committee that vocational and extension programs for youths must be expanded. During his testimony, Wilson said: 'more serious thought and planning must be given to the problems confronting the millions of young people born on American farms, many of whom today are in actual distress and of whom many more do not see clearly any promising opportunities for the future,' 3/10/38
