Accompanying caption description reads: '17. Das Reitkameel (Hèdjin) des Scherif Jah_ja, eines Sohnes des Scherif Ah_med, dessen Vater der berühmte 1886 verstorbenen Grossscherif Abd èl-Mut_t_álib ... mit einer reich mit Silber gestickten Satteldecke (batat). Den Zaum halt der Sklave Jah_ja's; neben diesem steht Jah_ja selbst im Reiteranzug und links in langen Kleidern zwei Scherife niedrigeren Ranges'. [The riding camel, Hedjin, with his richly decorated saddle (batat). The camel belongs to Sharif Jahja, son of the Sharif Ahmed whose father was the famous Great Sherif Abd el Muttalib who died in 1886. Jahja's slave holds the bridle; next to him is Jahja himself in riding costume standing next to two Sharifs of lower rank in long robes].
