Summary: Cartoon shows U.S. Secretary of War Newton D. Baker pulling back a curtain to show a tall American soldier (labeled 'U.S. Army') standing at attention. One of America's great contributions to World War I was an almost unending supply of manpower. By the end of the war, American manpower equalled more than that of Britain and France combined.
