Title: English credulity, or the invisible ghost

Summary: A satire referring to the 'Cock Lane Ghost' shows the interior of a bed-room crowded with men, some church ministers, one possibly Oliver Goldsmith, commenting on the 'Cock Lane ghost'. Two small children lie in a bed where the ghost of Fanny Lynes, carrying a mallet (used to make knocking sounds) appears on the bedstead head-cloth. One minister looks under the bed while several women stand to the side of the bed.
