Summary: Nine-panel comic strip in which Dimples is told that everyone should make a New Year's resolution and overhears her mother and a maid saying Miss Grump would be happier if she adopted a baby. Dimples takes her new baby brother to Miss Grump's door, thinking that her mother will be proud of her. When she is spanked for her actions, she kicks her dolly and says that her resolution is to not to see anyone ever again.
