Title: Declares at Civil Liberties Committee. Washington, D.C., March 17. Paul S. Litchfield, President of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, told the Lafollette Civil Liberties Committee today that while his firm recognized 'outside unions' it kept an elaborate 'company union' which is known as the 'the industrial assembly', and it comprises an assembly and Senate, much as the state legislature. Acting in a capacity similar to a state Governor, the manager has power to disapprove assembly actions, he added
