Photographs of Turkey include sites in Istanbul including palaces, Ayasofya Mosque, street scenes, a fur shop, the Galata Bridge and a procession; aerial views of Amasya and Trabzon; and a portrait of a 'Turkish bride.' Scenes in Palestine (present-day Israel, the West Bank, and Jordan), include the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem; the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem; the Sea of Galilee; a man plowing; Bedouins with tents; the Jordan river; an old aqueduct in Acre, and portraits of a woman of Ramah and a Samaritan high priest and his sons. Also includes an aerial view of Damascus and a courtyard of a home in the city.
