Burnside's brigade, First and Second Rhode Island, and Seventy-First New York Regiments, with their artillery, attacking the Rebel batteries at Bull Run; 3. Attack on the batteries at Bull Run by three companies of the First Massachusetts Regiment, Lieutenant-Colonel Welles, commanding.
