The government's test for velocity of the American and National League baseballs went out in the open air today, having learned all about the traits of the pellets within the laboratory. The Bureau of Standards transported it's paraphernalia to Griffith Stadium to let the baseballs be shot from their air gun and fly where they may. W.C.
