Title: Speaker Bankhead sees president. Washington, D.C., Nov. 11. Arriving in the Capital today for the special session, Speaker William B. Bankhead went immediately to the White house where he discussed pending legislation with President Roosevelt. On leaving the conference the Speaker told newsmen that President Roosevelt would not deliver his special message to Congress in person. 11/11/37
