Lord Abinger is in the middle row, second from left. William Frederick Scarlett (1826-1892), 3rd Lord Abinger, was at one time Lt. Col., Scots Guards, serving with them in Canada during the early 1860s, and was photographed with a group of attaches, etc., with the Army of the Potomac in Virginia in April 1863. (Source: C.
