Site History. House Architecture: Grovesnor Atterbury, 1898-1899. Landscape: Adele McGinnis (Mrs. Albert) and Albert Herter from 1898. Other: Later named 'The Creeks.' The house was on 75 acres given to the Herters as a marriage present by Albert Herter's mother Mary Herter. Today: House, but not garden, extant.
On slide (handwritten): 'H' and 'Herter, East Hampton.' Also, red hollow circle.
