Summary: Four-panel comic strip showing Pete, a bearded prospector, and his young friend Kid Sid trying to climb through a snow covered pass. They have outfitted their burro with snowshoes, but despite their care they slip and slide to the bottom. Pete consoles Sid, saying 'We always do this fourteen times on these here passes.' The strip, published in the Newark Evening News from Mar. 29-Oct. 2, 1926, was based on the cartoonist's experiences prospecting in the Klondike.
