Supreme Court Justice Nelson, Montgomery Blair (postmaster general), Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, and Generals Grant, Hooker, and Meade.

The majority are vignette portraits and bear original autographs at the bottom of the card mount. The remaining images are identified in pencil by the collector. Seven portraits are missing. In a contemporary album, stamped in gold leaf on the cover. Album in good, but not perfect condition.
