Wright was wounded on May 16, 1864 at Drewry's Bluff, Virginia and became a prisoner of war on April 3, 1865 at Deep Creek, Virginia. Richard C. Brooks was a prisoner of war on May 24, 1864 at Mott's Tavern, Virginia.
